What is ISHRAI?

Iranian Syndicate of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air conditioning Industries (ISHRAI) is the national trade association representing manufacturers of more than 90 percent of Iran produced central air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration equipment. ISHRAI's national headquarters is located in Iran, Tehran, at the Enghelab Ave., near The Ferdosi Square in dawn town.

ISHRAI traces its history back to 1973 as one of the oldest syndicates in Iran. Since 1973,this institution has dedicated its activities to the encouragement, development and growth of ISHRAI members and has achieved remarkable success.

The production of HVAC, piping & plumbing equipments in Iran began about a half century ago along with the advent of construction of high building in which Central HVAC systems were applied. In the beginning, only a few manufacturers that produced certain type of these equipment existed. Some of them even exported their products to other Middle-Eastern countries. Gradually, as the number of high buildings and residential complexes increased throughout the country, more and more companies started manufacturing HVAC, PIPING & PLUMBING equipment. This trend continued to such an extent that a need for a disciplined organization coordinating their activities was perceived.

This is how Iranian Syndicate of Heating, Refrigeration and Air conditioning Industries (ISHRAI) came to existence.

Currently, ISHRAI has 93 of such reliable manufacturing companies as members.
